The T3X Language and Compiler - T3X.ORG edit / delete
"T3X9 is a tiny, yet comprehensible, procedural language, much like Pascal or BCPL, but even more minimal. Its compiler is small and fast." There's a book about how the compiler works too.

Twice the bits, twice the trouble: vulnerabilities induced by migrating to 64-bit platforms | the morning paper edit / delete
"In this study, Wressnegger et al. reveal how a codebase originally written for 32-bit, and which is perfectly secure on 32-bit platforms, can have new vulnerabilities simply by compiling it for 64-bit systems." No surprises for anyone who follows oss-security etc., but the paper's a good overview.

A Cyberpunk Manifesto - Revised | Neon Dystopia edit / delete
"The original translation of Kirtchev’s A Cyberpunk Manifesto, now 20 years old and translated from Bulgarian, is not exactly known for its perfect English." Although if you're filing this under "fashion/lifestyle" then I think you're kind of missing the point...

"Es is an extensible shell. The language was derived from the Plan 9 shell, rc, and was influenced by functional programming languages, such as Scheme, and the Tcl embeddable programming language." Meets some of the design criteria I'm interested in, although overall I don't find the design that compelling.
